    EniSorb-A109 is activated alumina with smooth surface, which could effectively absorb TBC widely used in production of white styrene, such as polyethylene (PE), Polystyrene (PS), Thermoplastic polyester (TPE) rubber, Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene(ABS)...etcBecause TBC (4-tert-butylcatechol) is a large organic molecule, standard alumina cannot adsorb it effectively. Enisorb-A109 features an optimized macroporous structure tailored perfectly to trap and hold large TBC molecules. Demonstrates exceptionally high dynamic adsorption capacity, reducing TBC levels in monomer feed from >100 ppm down to less than 1 ppm, ensuring zero catalyst poisoning in downstream polymerization. Widely utilized in the purification processes of Styrene, Butadiene, Isoprene, and Vinyl Chloride monomers.
